What kind of camera did Jia use in his videos, and how did he hide it in such a way that it was unnoticeable?

Does anyone know, or could suggest how to do it?

Maybe your state is different but I don’t think it’s illegal to talk on the phone while driving as long as you have a hands free device. Some states prohibit school bus drivers and “novice” drivers from using them period. Jia was clearly hands free, watching the road as well, as you can see he’s not looking at the camera and doesn’t turn it off until he’s stopped.
